April: 'The Last Song'

I have picked the book for April...

THE LAST SONG
Author: Nicholas Sparks
- Seventeen year old Veronica "Ronnie" Miller's life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. Three years later, she remains angry and alienated from her parents, especially her father... until her mother decides it would be in everyone's best interest if she spent the summer in
Wilmington with him. Ronnie's father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centerpiece of a local church. The tale that unfolds is an unforgettable story of love on many levels-- first love, love between parents and children -- that demonstrates, as only a Nicholas Sparks novel can, the many ways that love can break our hearts... and heal them.

  3. this wasn't my favorite. I thought it was kinda slow until the end. I know this is bad, but after reading the Twilight Saga it seems like the love between Ronnie and Will isn't ETERNAL like Bella and Edward's. Haha Thats dumb I know. I feel like Nicholas Sparks doesn't describe the characters visually (how they look) as well as he could've. But don't get me wrong, I really liked it. I like how it was a immature girl and it showed how she gradually grew up. Overall, it was just good.

  9. What I LOVED about this book-

Their romance was so real to me, but also so young,
They had a good time together and didn't care that they were totally goofy,
It shows how much you need a family,
And I loved that there was religion put into it,
it felt very real to me
and I Just LOVED IT... I did hate some parts that were stolen and put into a movie. the notebook, but oh well very good book...
